Choosing an advanced class is always difficult, but for Bounty Hunters the choice is particularly hard. Most other classes have massive differences between the choices. Operatives are entirely different from Snipers. Inquisitors are entirely different from Assassins. Juggernauts and Marauders are fairly close – but one wears heavy armor and the other must make do with medium.
Bounty Hunters are most closely related, particularly if you just want to DPS. No matter what you choose you’re going to be using guns and you’re going to be wearing heavy armor. Both can have access to a fair amount of AOE or direct-damage abilities, depending on spec. And they have a similar appearance in the end-game, which makes a purely aesthetic choice difficult.
